  Waters from Cascade Head to Florence OR from 10 to 60 nm...

* Until 1215 PM PST..

* At 1112 AM PST, strong thunderstorms were located over the 
  central Oregon waters moving east to northeast at 20 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 75 knots possible.

  SOURCE...Satellite imagery indicated.

  IMPACT...Boats could suffer significant structural damage in high 
           winds. Small craft could capsize in suddenly higher 
           waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Yaquina Head, Heceta Head, Arch Cape, Cape Falcon, Otter Rock, Cape
  Foulweather, Depoe Bay, Stonewall Bank Buoy 50, Cape Lookout and
  Cape Perpetua.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
Wind gusts in excess of 75 knots, high waves, dangerous lightning, 
and heavy rain are possible with these storms.

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
