* At 311 PM PST, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 22 nm northwest of Trinidad Head to near Cape
  Mendocino, moving east-northeast at 20 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots and small hail.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 
           suddenly higher waves.
