Areas of fog have formed this morning and have been working their way east from West Central Florida toward Lake and Volusia Counties, especially north and west of the Interstate 4 corridor. Other areas have formed within East Central Florida along the Space and Treasure Coasts, and interior in vicinity of the Saint Johns and Kissimmee River basins. The fog has been locally dense at times, reducing visibility to one-quarter miles in spots. Motorists are urged to drive with extra caution this morning, driving at adjusted safer speeds using low beam headlights. Be aware of vehicle tail lights in front of you and be ready to stop. Also, be watchful for pedestrians and those riding bikes. Allow some extra time to reach your destination this morning.
