...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT APACHE AND NAVAJO COUNTIES
THROUGH 215 PM MDT/115 PM MST/...

At 123 PM MDT/1223 PM MST/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles east of Hard Rock
to near Indian Wells. Movement was north at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Village of Walpi, Low Mountain, Toyei, White Cone, Jadito, Hard 
Rock, Indian Wells, Jeddito, Whipoorwill Chapter House, Navajo, 
Pinon, and Polacca.

This includes State Route 264 between mile markers 390 and 424.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
