...HEAVY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVING INTO LEEWARD BIG ISLAND...

At 600 AM HST, radar indicated that a line of heavy showers and 
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 9 miles 
northwest of Hawi to 34 miles west of Kailua-Kona. The line was 
moving east at 20 mph.

Wind gusts to 40 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Kailua-Kona, Captain Cook, Waikoloa Village, Kapaau, Honokaa,
Paauilo, Waipio Valley, Kukuihaele, Hawi, Kamuela, Honaunau,
Kawaihae, Kahaluu-Keauhou, Kealakekua, Puako, Pohakuloa Camp,
Puuanahulu, Kainaliu, Honalo and Pololu Valley.
