SOUTHEASTERN HARRISON AND SOUTHWESTERN SHELBY COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM
CDT...

At 506 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles west of Minden to 2 miles south of
Neola to 4 miles northwest of Treynor. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

* Locations impacted include...
  Oakland, Underwood, Neola, Shelby, Minden, Hancock, McClelland,
  Botna Bend Park, and Arrowhead Park.

People attending Minden Tornado Cleanup should seek safe shelter 
immediately!

This includes Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 17 and 34.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.

shelter inside a building or vehicle.
