POWESHIEK...MONROE...DECATUR...SOUTHEASTERN MARION...NORTHWESTERN 
WAPELLO...WAYNE...MAHASKA...SOUTHEASTERN RINGGOLD AND NORTHWESTERN 
APPANOOSE COUNTIES THROUGH 900 AM CDT...

Locally heavy rainfall from early morning thunderstorms may result 
in minor flooding issues through late morning. The heaviest rain 
fell from the Lamoni to Chariton and Oskaloosa areas as well as 
portions of southeastern Mahaska County. Be on the lookout for minor 
flooding of roads and areas that have typical drainage problems. 
Some minor urban flooding may also be occurring in towns in the 
region.

HAZARD...Minor urban and rural flooding due to rainfall.

IMPACT...Roads may experience some minor flooding.

Locations impacted include...
Oskaloosa, Chariton, Albia, Leon, Corydon, Lamoni, New Sharon,
Eddyville, Rathbun Lake, Ottumwa Industrial Airport, Fremont,
Russell, Lovilia, Allerton, Beacon, Humeston, University Park,
Bussey, Harvey, and Lineville.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 1 and 14.
 
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM CDT for
south central, central and southeastern Iowa.
