...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN RAPIDES AND
NORTHEASTERN VERNON PARISHES THROUGH 730 AM CDT...

At 647 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Colfax to near Hutton to near New Llano.
Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Alexandria, Pineville, Leesville, Boyce, Alexandria International
Airport, Slagle, Hineston, Lena, Fort Johnson, Ball, New Llano,
Colfax, Tioga, Timber Trails, Hutton, Flatwoods, Otis, Elmer,
Kingsville, and Sieper.

This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 84 and 109.
