...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL HOUGHTON...EAST
CENTRAL ONTONAGON AND NORTHWESTERN BARAGA COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM
EDT...

At 600 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles southeast of Mass City, or 21 miles southeast of Ontonagon,
moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Nisula, Bob Lake, Alston, Prickett Dam, and Pelkie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
