...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN ALCONA AND
NORTHEASTERN IOSCO COUNTIES THROUGH 400 PM EDT...

At 332 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Mikado, or 9 miles east of Glennie, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Oscoda, Harrisville, Au Sable, Mikado, Wurtsmith Airfield, and
Harrisville State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
