...SMALL STREAM FLOODING EXPECTED...

Heavy rain will cause minor flooding in the following counties... 

Lac qui Parle...Meeker...Chippewa...Redwood...Sibley...Yellow
Medicine...Brown...Swift...Renville...Kandiyohi...Nicollet...

* Until 900 AM CDT.

* At 555 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  heavy rain which will cause small stream flooding. Overflow of
  water will result in minor flooding of poor drainage locations in
  the area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. 

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Willmar, Montevideo, Redwood Falls, Sleepy Eye, Granite Falls,
  Olivia, Springfield, Canby, Madison, Dawson, Appleton and Clara
  City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
