...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN BARTON...EASTERN
NEWTON...EASTERN MCDONALD...BARRY...LAWRENCE...EASTERN JASPER AND
DADE COUNTIES THROUGH 345 AM CDT...

At 247 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles east of Sheldon to near Fairview to
near Bentonville. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Roaring River State Park, Stockton Lake, Table Rock Lake, Monett,
Aurora, Mount Vernon, Cassville, Marionville, Shell Knob, Greenfield,
Sarcoxie, Pierce City, Purdy, Lockwood, Seligman, Exeter, Golden
City, Miller, Wheaton, and Verona.

This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 26 and 58.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 AM CDT for southwestern
and west central Missouri.
