...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORM WITH PEA SIZE HAIL A MIXTURE 
RAIN AND SNOW WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN LEWIS AND CLARK AND 
SOUTHWESTERN CASCADE COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM MDT...

At 547 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near 
East Helena, or 8 miles northeast of Helena, moving north at 25 mph. 
This cell is producing pea to one half inch hail along with 
lightning. This cell and additional intense showers and isolated 
thunderstorms will track north through southern Lewis and Clark 
County through 645 PM with precipitation more likely to fall as snow 
for areas from Sieben north to Craig. In addition to small hail and 
lightning, brief but intense snow could quickly coat some road 
surfaces. 

HAZARD...Half inch hail.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Helena, East Helena, Wolf Creek, Tower Rock State Park, Craig, Spring
Meadow Lake State Park, Canyon Creek, and Black Sandy State Park.
