THROUGH 630 PM EDT...

At 527 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line
extending from 10 miles east of Southern Pines to 9 miles west of
Raeford to near Laurinburg. Movement was east-northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Fayetteville, Laurinburg, Raeford, Lillington, Fort Liberty, Maxton,
Antioch, Pope AFB, Spring Lake, and Wagram.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Doppler radar has indicated weak rotation with this shower. If the 
shower strengthens into a thunderstorms and the rotation 
strengthens, a warning may need to be issued. If outdoors, consider 
seeking shelter inside a building.
