GREENE...LENOIR AND NORTHEASTERN DUPLIN COUNTIES THROUGH 845 PM
EDT...

At 811 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Jason to near Albertson. Movement was east
at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Kinston, La Grange, Kornegay, Snow Hill, Deep Run, Dawson, Institute,
Jason, Albertson, Kinston Regional Jetport, Pink Hill, Hookerton,
Sandy Bottom, Shine, Fort Run VFD, and Bull Head VFD.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
