...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CRAVEN...SOUTH
CENTRAL PAMLICO AND CENTRAL CARTERET COUNTIES THROUGH 730 PM EDT...

At 642 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Havelock, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
New Bern, Havelock, Morehead City, Newport, South River, Merrimon,
Harlowe, Janeiro, Great Neck, Maribel, Nc Pamlico, North Harlowe,
Merritt, Neuse Forest, Cherry Branch Ferry Terminal, Minnesott Beach
Ferry, Arapahoe, Minnesott Beach, and Stonewall.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
