At 1201 AM MST, National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a band of heavy snow along a fast moving cold front, extending from Park Valley to Knolls to Fish Springs Wildlife refuge. This band is moving east at 40 mph, and will across the Wasatch Front around 1 AM. A burst of heavy snow along with winds to near 40 mph will be possible as this band crosses the area, which may result in rapid snow accumulation across area roadways, particularly mountain routes such as Parleys, Weber, and Logan Canyons.
