...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN LINCOLN...NORTHERN
MARATHON...SOUTHERN MARINETTE...NORTHERN MENOMINEE...NORTHERN
OCONTO...LANGLADE AND WESTERN SHAWANO COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM CDT...

At 546 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from McCaslin Mountain Natural
Area to 9 miles southwest of New Wood Wildlife Area. Movement was
southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wausau, Antigo, Merrill, Rib Mountain, Crivitz, Mountain, White Lake,
Dutch Corners, Bear Paw Scout Camp, and Gardner Dam Scout Camp.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
