  North central St. Mary Parish in south central Louisiana...

* Until 100 PM CDT.

* At 1228 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Sorrel, or
  near Jeanerette, moving southeast at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect 
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.

* Locations impacted include...
  Franklin, Jeanerette, Baldwin, Sorrel, Glencoe, Lake Fausse Pointe,
  and Charenton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
