* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Sibley County in central Minnesota...
  Eastern Renville County in central Minnesota...

* Until 715 PM CDT.

* At 640 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Franklin, or
  13 miles northeast of Redwood Falls, moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Fairfax, Hector, Bird Island, Gibbon, Buffalo Lake, and Lakeside. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay
away from windows.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
