The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Ste. Genevieve County in southeastern Missouri...
  Southeastern St. Francois County in southeastern Missouri...

* Until 1000 PM CDT.

* At 916 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Knob Lick to Womac, moving northeast at 75 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Law enforcement.  Trees have been reported down in Iron 
           County.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to 
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Farmington, Ste. Genevieve, St. Mary, Weingarten, Coffman, Womac,
  Knob Lick, Libertyville, River Aux Vases, and Minnith.

This includes Interstate 55 in Missouri between exits 141 and 150.
 
This also includes Hawn State Park and Felix Valle House State Park.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for southeastern
Missouri.
