  Northeastern Hyde County in eastern North Carolina...
  West central Dare County in eastern North Carolina...
  Southeastern Tyrrell County in eastern North Carolina...

* Until 600 PM EDT.

* At 535 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Fairfield, or
  26 miles west of Stumpy Point, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage 
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Kilkenny, Killkenny, Fairfield, Nebraska, Lake Landing, Middletown,
  Fort Landing, and Lake Mattamuskeet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay
away from windows.
