* Until 930 PM EDT.

* At 912 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Surf City,
  moving east at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to 
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  North Topsail Beach, Onslow Beach, Sneads Ferry, Sea View Pier, and
  Holly Ridge.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
