* At 1100 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Spurlockville to 8 miles east of Hode, moving
  east at 65 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to 
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Madison, Fayetteville, Logan, Oak Hill, Ansted, Chapmanville,
  Smithers, Gauley Bridge, Van, Powellton, Mount Gay-Shamrock,
  Spurlockville, Hawks Nest State Park, Harts, Bald Knob, Chief Logan
  State, Burnwell, Wharton, Julian, and Danville.

This includes the following highways...
 West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 52 and 79.
 Route 119 between mile markers 27 and 59.
 Route 19 between mile markers 13 and 27.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 PM EDT for central,
southern, western and southeastern West Virginia.
