  Central Dodge County in central Georgia...
  Northeastern Telfair County in central Georgia...
  Southwestern Treutlen County in east central Georgia...
  Wheeler County in central Georgia...
  Montgomery County in central Georgia...

* Until 800 PM EST.
    
* At 728 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Achord, or near McRae, moving east at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  McRae, Eastman, Alamo, Mount Vernon, Helena, Glenwood, Ailey,
  Scotland, Chauncey, Higgston, Tarrytown, Lothair, Spring Hill,
  Landsburg, Cedar Grove, Barnhill, Kibbee, Jay Bird Springs, Achord
  and Little Ocmulgee State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
