* Tornado Warning for...
  East central Pulaski County in southern Illinois...
  Massac County in southern Illinois...
  Southern Pope County in southern Illinois...
  Northeastern Ballard County in western Kentucky...
  Northern McCracken County in western Kentucky...

* Until 545 AM CDT.

* At 500 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near La Center, moving east at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Metropolis, West Paducah, and Barkley Regional Airport around 505 
  AM CDT.
  Paducah and Brookport around 510 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Joppa
and Kevil.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 24 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 1 and 4.
 Interstate 24 in Illinois between Mile Markers 27 and 38.
