The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northern Lewis County in northeastern Kentucky...
  Southeastern Adams County in southwestern Ohio...
  Southwestern Scioto County in southwestern Ohio...

* Until 1215 AM EDT.

* At 1143 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing both
  tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located near
  Rome, moving east at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Portsmouth, Vanceburg, Rome, Concord, Sandy Springs, Buena Vista in
  Scioto County, Saint Paul, Firebrick, Carrs, Ribolt, Friendship,
  Charters, Garrison, Rexton and Herron Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
