The National Weather Service in Duluth MN has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  East central Itasca County in north central Minnesota...
  Southwestern St. Louis County in northeastern Minnesota...

* Until 700 PM CDT.
    
* At 608 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Pengilly, or 11 miles southwest of Hibbing, moving
  southeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Toivola around 650 PM CDT.
  Meadowlands around 700 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Hart
Lake, Calumet, Kelly Lake, Floodwood Lake, Swan Lake, Elmer, Silica,
Zim, Little Swan and Hill Annex Mine State Park.

This Tornado Warning replaces the Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued
for the same area.

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a

and protect yourself from flying debris.
