The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  South central Ray County in west central Missouri...
  West central Lafayette County in west central Missouri...
  East central Jackson County in west central Missouri...

* Until midnight CDT.

* At 1130 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located over Grain Valley, moving northeast at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Blue Springs, Grain Valley, Oak Grove, Richmond, Odessa, Lexington,
  Wellington, Henrietta, Levasy, Napoleon, Bates City, Camden, and
  Fleming.

This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 20 and
34.
