The National Weather Service in Gray Maine has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southern Coos County in northern New Hampshire...

* Until 745 PM EDT.
    
* At 656 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 8 miles southwest of Lancaster, moving east at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Lancaster around 705 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Gorham, Dalton, Whitefield, Randolph, Carroll and Northumberland.

  Mount Jefferson, Mount Madison, Moose Brook State Park, Mount
Adams, and AMC Madison Spring Hut.
