The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Central Salem County in southern New Jersey...
  Central Gloucester County in southern New Jersey...

* Until 630 PM EDT.
    
* At 557 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Alloway, or 12 miles northwest of Bridgeton,
  moving northeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Glassboro, Pitman, Paulsboro, Salem, Woodstown, Alloway, Quinton,
  Swedesboro, Beckett, Mullica Hill, Gibbstown, Turnersville, Wenonah
  and Oak Valley.

This includes the following highways...
 New Jersey Turnpike between exits 1 and 2.
 Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 11 and 18.
 Atlantic City Expressway near mile marker 43.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
