* Until 730 PM EDT.
    
* At 655 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near East Corning, or near West Elmira, moving
  northeast at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

  Elmira and West Elmira around 715 PM EDT.
  Horseheads, Elmira Heights and Horseheads North around 720 PM EDT.
