The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Central Gallia County in southeastern Ohio...
  Southeastern Jackson County in southeastern Ohio...
  Northwestern Lawrence County in southeastern Ohio...

* Until 845 PM EDT.

* At 816 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing both 
  tornadoes and straight line wind damage were located 8 miles south 
  of Oak Hill, moving northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Rio Grande, Gallia, Vernon, Adamsville, Gage, Pedro and
  Centerpoint.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
