The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Central Robeson County in southeastern North Carolina...
  North central Dillon County in northeastern South Carolina...

* Until 745 PM EDT.
    
* At 721 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Minturn, or 10 miles north of Dillon, moving
  northeast at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Purvis and Raemon around 730 PM EDT.
  Pembroke and Elrod around 735 PM EDT.
  Buie and Prospect around 740 PM EDT.
  Lumberton, Robeson Community College and Barker Ten Mile around 
  745 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
