  The northeastern City of Suffolk in southeastern Virginia...
  The City of Hampton in southeastern Virginia...
  The southern City of Newport News in southeastern Virginia...

* Until 500 PM EDT.
    
* At 436 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Smithfield, moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Smithfield around 440 PM EDT.
  Rescue around 450 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Mogarts Beach, Carrollton, Benns Church, Lawson, Hilton Village and
Rushmere.

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
