...WINTER STORM WARNING IS CANCELLED...

Snow has subsided across all of our area; however, life threatening
travel conditions and life threatening cold temperatures will
continue. Life threatening travel conditions and cold are expected to
continue tonight into Wednesday! Do not travel if you don't have
to! Many if not all roads are snow and ice covered and should be
considered impassable. Any snow melt that may have occurred due
to anyone traveling on them will refreeze into black ice tonight.
Extreme cold will continue with temperatures falling into the
lower teens tonight and wind chills between 0 and 10 across the
area, coldest where the snowpack is most robust. Temperatures will
struggle to rise above freezing Wednesday further exacerbating
prolonged impacts to roads. Temperatures and wind chills this cold
will pose a threat to life given any prolonged exposure. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency. If you must go outside, dress in
layers. Several layers of clothes will keep you warmer than a
single heavy coat. Cover exposed skin to reduce your risk of
frostbite or hypothermia. Gloves, a scarf, and a hat will keep you
from losing your body heat.
