...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM SATURDAY TO 8 AM PDT 
SUNDAY ABOVE 5000 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow above 5000 feet. Snow accumulations up to 1 to 4 
  inches with snow amounts to 5 to 9 inches above 7000 feet. Winds 
  gusting as high as 55 mph with gusts to 70 mph for higher 
  ridgetops.

* WHERE...Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties.

* WHEN...From 11 AM Saturday to 8 AM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will 
  likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road 
  conditions. Strong winds could cause damage to trees and power 
  lines.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Those traveling over higher Sierra passes and 
  recreating in the Sierra back country should be prepared for late 
  season wintry conditions at times overnight Saturday into early 
  Sunday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road 
conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by 
calling 5 1 1 in Nevada, and calling CALTRANS 1-800-427-7623 in 
California.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while 
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken 
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and 
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
