...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM PDT THURSDAY
ABOVE 7000 FEET...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected above 7000 feet. Total snow 
  accumulations of 10 to 20 inches expected. Winds gusting as 
  high as 65 mph over exposed ridgetops and along the crest.

* WHERE...Sierra Nevada from Yosemite to Kings Canyon above 7000 
  feet.

* WHEN...Until 5 AM PDT Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Roads will be slick and snow covered and 
  possibly impassable with chain requirements. Travel delays are 
  possible. Gusty winds will cause blowing and drifting snow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
