* Flood Warning for
the Neches River Near Beaumont.
* From Thursday afternoon until further notice.
* At 8:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 1.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 4.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
Thursday afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 9.6 feet
Friday morning. THIS FORECAST INCLUDES A POTENTIAL STORM SURGE
BASED ON HURRICANE LAURA LANDFALL OVERNIGHT WED AND EARLY THURS
MORNING. SIGNIFICANT CHANGES TO THIS FORECAST ARE EXPECTED AS THE
STORM FORECAST CHANGES OVER THE NEXT 24 HOURS.
* Impact...At 10.0 feet, Major flooding around the Beaumont Country
