* Until 330 AM EST
* At 137 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to one inch of rain has
already fallen across central and southern Caswell during the past
hour and an additional 1-2 inches of rainfall can be expected.
Flooding was already observed in Caswell county yesterday from
rainfall and snow/ice melt. Flash flooding is imminent.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Yanceyville...
Bethel...
Providence...
Jericho...
and Prospect Hill.
Excessive rainfall over the warned area can cause mud slides and
rock slides along hillsides. The mud slide can consist of rock, mud,
vegetation and other loose materials.
