jam in Arcadia as well as flooding along the north Loup river in
Ord. Additional flooding is occurring along Mira creek in North
Loup. More than one inch of rain has already fallen across much of
Valley county today, and additional rainfall is expected with
isolated thunderstorms through the evening hours. Flash flooding
is expected with this additional rainfall on top of already
saturated and frozen soils draining into already swollen rivers
and creeks.

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Rain and Snowmelt in...
Southern Howard County in central Nebraska...
* Until 1145 PM CDT.
* At 637 PM CDT, emergency management reported an ice jam causing
flash flooding just southeast of Rockville in Sherman County.
Additional rain moving into the area may cause the ice jam to
break and cause rapid rises in river levels along Loup River in
southern Howard County. Flash flooding is expected to begin
shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Dannebrog, Boelus and St. Libory.
Additional rainfall amounts around one inch are possible in the
warned area.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
