Flood waters are moving downstream along Laguna De Santa Rosa at
Stony Point and Colgan Creek near Sebastopol. These creeks are
currently in flood stage and are expected to remain in flood stage
over the next hour.

few hours in this region with the likelihood of flash flooding,
mud flows and debris flows, especially in the vicinity of the
Detwiler burn scar.

Additional rainfall of up to two inches is possible in the warned
area this afternoon. Debris flows can consist of rock, mud,

in northern California...

* At 217 PM PDT, dam operators reported the imminent failure of
Moccasin Dam on Moccasin Creek. Flood waters will move down
Moccasin Creek to Don Pedro Reservoir. Highway 49 will continue to
be impacted by flooding due to outflow from the emergency
spillway. Highway 120 may be impacted. Facilities downstream of
the dam along the creek have all been evacuated. Precautionary
evacuations are being conducted at Moccasin Point Campground. The
town of Moccasin is above the dam and will not be impacted.

Bootjack, Mariposa, Catheys Valley and Lake McClure.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow
around the Detwiler Burn Scar. The debris flow can consist of rock,
mud, vegetation and other loose materials.
Move to higher ground now. This is an extremely dangerous and
life-threatening situation. Do not attempt to travel unless you are
fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order.
